Australia, four time world champions in one day internationals and number one in test cricket has never won a T20 world cup, and their best result came when they reached the 2010 final. Australia will be looking to do well in upcoming T20 world cup in India starting next month, however, they suffered 3-0 drubbing from the hands of India in recent concluded T20 series in Australia has given them a lot to think on. Steve Smith, feels that it will be tough to beat host nation India in T20 world cup, because of their inexperience in T20 cricket.
The Australian team flew to South Africa on Sunday to prepare for series in African nation and smith told the reporters at the Sydney airport that "On any given day in T20 cricket any side can be dangerous, an individual can take a game away from you,"
Over the years no Australian captain has gone into the T20 tournament believing that victory is impossible, and Steve is no different to them.
